Hello! I’m Erin, a certified professional resume writer and career coach. It is my passion to bring out the best in YOU by highlighting your career accomplishments not only through the words and formatting of your resume but also through the development of your LinkedIn profile, cover letter, interviewing, networking, and other job search skills. I work with professionals across all functions, industries and experience levels with the goal of facilitating what I like to call a “Career Level-Up”!
Prior to starting ER Resume Review, I obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Business Administration from Rice University. I began my professional career in a variety of marketing and human resources roles. My love for career development started when I became a university recruiter for what is now a global Fortune 500 company. Eventually, I found my home in Higher Education. For the better part of the last 10 years, I have been a career coach passionately developing the career paths of both undergraduate and graduate level business students at The University of Houston C.T. Bauer College of Business - Rockwell Career Center, as the Associate Director of Graduate Career Services and as an Adjunct Professor.
ER Resume Review has allowed me to branch out beyond the students I serve and assist a variety of industry professionals.
The journey to find my passion wasn’t linear. Amidst the variety of roles that I’ve held over the last 20 years, I sought out the common threads that were woven into my strengths, innate skills, and activities that brought me joy in order to fulfill my career vision.
